Digirit Warranty Policy
ONE YEAR WARRANTY
Over the years, we have been committed to developing and manufacturing the best quality bicycle parts. Digirit Industry Co., Ltd. warrants these products to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year after original purchase date to original owner. Product life expectancy depends on factors like frequency of use, environmental conditions and intended use. It is important to periodically clean, maintain and inspect your drivetrain parts. If you ride in bad conditions (ex. rain, mud, snow), you must do this immediately to keep the drivetrain clean and free of water.
WEAR AND TEAR
This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear parts. Wear and tear parts are subject to deterioration as a result of normal use. Failure to inspect and/or riding in harsh weather conditions can and will speed up deterioration.
Wear and tear parts/items are as follows:
- Normal BB bearing degradation over life of product
- Anodizing wearing off over life of product
- Chainring teeth and Cassette teeth degradation over life of product
- Bottom bracket Seals (outer and inner) degradation over life of product
- General corrosion over time
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the AUTHORIZED DIGIRIT RETAILER where the Digirit product was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required. This warranty does not apply to products incorrectly installed and/or adjusted according to the respective installation instructions/owner manual. Failure to use correct installation or removal tools will result in damage not covered by warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by crash, impact, abuse of the product, or unusual installations resulting in subjecting the product to excessive forces or loads beyond its design. Digirit does provide for low-cost repair or replacement of product damaged in a crash or other non-warranty situation for original owner during this one year period.
This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified. Any and all modifications to a Digirit product voids warranty.
Under no circumstance are the costs of shipping to or from Digirit covered by this limited warranty.
